Flexographic Print Operator

•             Up to £30K per annum depending on experience

•             Monday-Thursday 6-2 & 2-10, Fri 6-11:30 & 11:30-5:00

•             Temp to Perm

Our client is a well-established printing company based in Rochdale who due to continued expansion are looking to add an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to their team. As a Print Operative, you’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products for our customers.  The company is well established and prides themselves in the delivering a high-quality service to their clients.

The purpose of the role is;

• Operating both manual and semi-automatic machines, including 4-colour stack presses
• Monitoring machinery output to meet and exceed production targets
• Identifying and resolving print issues
• Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and promoting safety
• Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift and checking machinery

The Person

• Ideally, you have experience in print, either flexographic, lithograph or gravure background
• NVQ in Print (desirable but not essential)
• High attention to detail and meticulous approach
• Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Flexibility to work a 2 shift pattern
