Freelance Site Manager – Immediate Start – Basingstoke Area

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a major infrastructure project in the Basingstoke area.

This is an immediate requirement offering a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work on a large-scale scheme with a strong pipeline of ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations

• Managing subcontractors, plant and labour on site

• Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained

• Monitoring progress against programme targets

• Coordinating site activities and resolving operational issues

• Liaising with project teams and reporting on progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks projects

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment

• Proven track record of delivering works safely and efficiently
